If you are a victim of crypto-related fraud located in the United States of America or any of its territories, there are a number of resources available to help you:


National Cyber Fraud Reporting Services
After you have reported your case to your local law enforcement agency, you may also wish to report your case to one of the following organisations:

Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC)


Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)


FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)

Crime Prevention Services

The National Centre for Victims of Crime runs the Victim Resource Connect Center - a weekday phone, chat and text-based referral helpline for victims of crime in the USA and its territories. The service provides emotional support, information and referrals in over 200 languages that have been uniquely tailored to the victim’s individual needs.

Their VictimConnect Resource Map is a searchable list of popular national and local resources that can be filtered by category, service, location and keywords. Similarly, the Tribal Resource Tool (TRT) will help connect American Indian and Alaskan Native victims to find available resources for their specific needs. While these lists are not specific to fraudulent crimes, they do contain a lot of valuable information that can help you with fraud cases.


Personal, Financial, Legal or Emotional Advice Services
The US Government has put together a list of free legal aid and advice services. This list includes legal resources for specific groups such as military veterans, seniors, people with disabilities or low-income households.


The National Crime Victim Bar Association is dedicated to helping victims of crime seek justice through the civil court system. You can use their attorney referral request form if you need help finding an experienced lawyer or expert witness.


The National Association of Crime Victim Compensation Boards maintains a database of programs that can provide substantial financial assistance to crime victims and their families. Their directory provides links to each state compensation program, as well as specific information about the benefits, requirements, and procedures involved.

If you're having a hard time emotionally and want to talk to someone, dont struggle in silence! You can get in touch with Lifeline by visiting their website, using their LiveChat service, calling their 24hr helpline, sending them an email or by sending a text to 988.


If you are an elderly person, or you’re concerned about an older person falling victim to a scam, you can get specific, free and confidential advice from the National Elder Fraud Hotline.


You can get specialised support from the Veterans Crisis Line if you are currently serving in any branch of the United States Military, National Guard or The Reserves; are a military veteran or are providing support to a current or previous member of the armed forces. Get in touch by visiting their website, using their LiveChat service, calling their 24hr helpline and pressing option 1 or sending a text to 838255. You do not have the be enrolled in VA Benefits or healthcare to receive assistance.
